To our faithful brothers and sisters, pastors and churches,

January and February have been quite eventful to say the least. Some families have gone, others have taken their place. “The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord” (Job 1:21). Please join us in praising God for the victories and praying through the difficulties (until the difficulties themselves become victories)!

February Highlight: Married Couples Banquet
Our first Married couples dinner was a HUGE success! Abby and Isabel acted as waitresses for the event. Jimmy catered the event; and Andrea organized games for the couples to play in teams. Pastor Chris finished the evening with a challenge from Colossians 3, “And above all these things put on charity.”
Andrea is excited to help in future events, which is another answer to prayer.

Bringing people in!
The start of the year has seen MANY first time visitors, great news! Even better news is that we have seen them stick around and become regular attenders! The more we have inside the church growing, the more effective we can be outside the church in reaching others!

Special Anniversaries
It’s always wonderful to have visitors in church, but it’s the consistency of the faithful members that makes the biggest difference. In February, we celebrated the one year anniversary of Rinaldo and Ida, whom we also had the privilege of baptizing last summer. Since then, they have been helping in every way they can and being a constant encouragement.

Update: Scarry family not to return to Sardinia
To refresh everyone on the events, in October of last year, the Scarry family arrived to join the work of the ministry in Cagliari. Two months later, in December, they were denied permission to stay in the country and returned to the U.S. In January, we learned they would not be returning to Sardinia.

A brief furlough planned for the summer of 2025
We will be in the U.S. from mid-July to late August and are contacting as many of our supporters as we can to schedule visits. Our intention is to return Stateside for short visits every two to three years in order to not leave the church for long periods of time, while still being able to come back to give you regular updates. If it doesn’t work out with your schedules this visit, then we will reach out again in just a few years. We love and appreciate all of you and hope to see as many of you as we can!
